Choose your venue

We’re your wedding destination of choice, but where exactly can you get married? There are myriad places on the Outer Cape: at Beech Forest among the trees or beside a beautiful pond; at the Race Point Lighthouse (with special permission); at any of our lovely town beaches overlooking the harbor; on a deck or in a gazebo at restaurants such as the Red Inn or Ciro and Sal’s.

Herring Cove Beach

We’re on the East Coast, so there aren’t many opportunities to see the sun set into the water, but Herring Cove allows for just that due to the swirling curve of the Cape. We can do a ceremony on the sand itself or on a slight rise overlooking the beach, with the sun setting behind you and Race Point Light in the background. Beautiful!

Suzanne’s Garden

This jewel in the East End of town is a public park in a privare setting and is surprisingly not well know, even among people who live here. Depending on the time you visit, riotous blooms of roses, wisteria, and more flood the area with scent and sight, and the pergola is the perfect place for an intimate wedding. That’s where you’ll find the inscription, Patience et longueur de temps font plus que force et que rage. (“Patience and time do more than strength and passion.”). The aphorism, from Jean de la Fontaine, is a beautiful saying for beginning a marriage.

Truro Congregational Meetinghouse

For those who would like a more traditional setting for their wedding, this oldest remaining house of worship on the Outer Cape is a treasured landmark, a sacred place that’s a defining architectural feature of this seaside village for nearly 200 years. Both piano and organ are available for use, the building is fully handicapped-accessible, and while there is a fee for use, they will throw in a bellringer for free!
